The Journey
Our journey starts on January 2, 2004, flying via Los Angeles (with a 4 day stopover) to New Zealand for 2 weeks. From there, we continue heading west to Australia on January 19 for 2 months. Once in Australia, we will spend 1 month on the road covering the eastern Barrier Reef coast and some of Australia’s wine country, and the rest of our time in the Sydney area. Mid-March, we will fly to Singapore for few days, on the way to spending 2 weeks in Bali. We then spend April in Thailand and India, followed by May in Greece and Turkey.

Early June will find us at home in Toronto for 2 weeks to see family and friends. In mid-June, we fly to Frankfurt, pick up our car, and spend 4 ½ months touring Europe including St. Petersburg, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, the Benelux, the UK and Ireland. Finally, about the beginning of November, we will fly to Buenos Aires, and will spend about 6 weeks exploring southern South America, including both Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego. Then, home for Christmas and back to reality.
