WestJet has launched a new Dreamliner service between Calgary and London Gatwick with the departure of WS1. The sold-out flight was a first for WestJet’s new 787-9 Dreamliner.
“Today is a fantastic day for WestJet as we take this important step in our journey to become a full-service global network airline,” said Arved von zur Muehlen, WestJet chief commercial officer.
British Airways welcomes new Club lounge at JFK
British Airways has opened its doors to the new Club lounge at New York’s JFK airport. It completes a substantial investment, following the unveiling of a plush new space for first-class customers in autumn last year. Customers at JFK Terminal 7 have also seen changes to the public areas and gate spaces to make them more appealing, welcoming and comfortable.
As British Airways’ flagship US lounge, the carefully curated space will play host to the hundreds of business and leisure customers that travel between New York and London on up to twelve trans-Atlantic flights a day.
Think you’re too old to enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth? Think again.
Most adults seem to fall into one of two camps when it comes to Disneyland: major enthusiasm or major skepticism. In reality, finding a middle ground between the two extremes is not that difficult. You can ride Space Mountain, have pork belly for lunch, sip rosé on a patio overlooking a California-inspired boardwalk and pier in Disney’s California Adventure, and not once touch a Mickey-shaped pretzel. You don’t have to find a seat for the many crowd-drawing parades throughout the day; you can use that time however and wherever you want. The parks aren’t just for kids—they’re for anyone who wants to have a good time.
